The Tracciolino Trail is one of the most spectacular human engineering works in Valchiavenna. We are talking about a 10-kilometer track that runs at a constant height of 920 meters between Val dei Ratti and Val Codera, built in the 1930s of the last century as a connection between two small dams, one in Val Codera (little more than a concrete wall) and one in Val dei Ratti (a bit larger). Of these 10 long kilometers, not all are equally interesting and fascinating: if the stretch between Val Codera and Val dei Ratti features tunnels and spectacular passages carved into the rock, the section between San Giorgio and Codera is incredibly monotonous (avoid it if possible
