Description:
The tour to Biberkopf I started in Lechleiten (bus stop). After 3 hours of ascent, I stood on the summit. The last meters are in easy climbing terrain (I). After the summit break, I descended again. After the climbing section, I reached the junction to Rappenseehütte. The path led slightly downhill below Biberkopf in scree terrain towards Hochrappenkopf. Finally, it went uphill again past Hochrappenkopf. At Hochrappenscharte, the view opened up to Rappensee and Rappenseehütte. A 'Wow' escaped me at the sight, a truly overwhelming view. After a break at Rappenseehütte, I descended to Lechleiten via Mutzentobel and the ruined Hintere Lechleitner Alm. A very nice mountain tour for which one should plan about 8 hours of walking time.
