The trail starts right behind Rifugio Locatelli (CAI Padova) and in just over 15 minutes one is already on the summit of Sasso di Sesto, splendid view of the Tre Cime. Back at the saddle we approach the start of the via ferrata of the elegant Torre di Toblin. The tower played a decisive role during the First World War, as it stood on the border between Italy and the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
