Description: The fabulous Cabirol Via Ferrata was built in the high cliffs of Capo Caccia and winds at dizzying heights overhanging the cobalt blue sea with an exceptional view of the Fora Dada rock. It is considered one of Europe's most beautiful and scenic, and to complete it without hurry, plan about 3.30-4 hours (depending on the group). The route consists essentially of two long horizontal sections (interrupted by small ups and downs) connected by a vertical one. In the first horizontal section, progression is smooth and fast as, except for some points equipped with steel cables, you walk comfortably on a monumental ledge. Upon reaching the vertical, the real via ferrata begins, with the first thrills... and first small difficulties. Overall, the via ferrata presents no particular difficulties, is very well built, and the cables instill security. Currently, the route attracts people from all over Europe exponentially, boosting tourism during and outside peak season.
