Description:
The Achtermann is with its 925m the fourth highest mountain in the Harz. It is comfortably reachable from Königskrug on the B4, with several ascent variants.

My ascent led over the steep variant, which leads up on a pleasant path and offers among other things two magnificent cliffs along the way.
