Description:
10-11-2022: The Dint Trail.
Once parked, follow the lake shore towards the dam for about 300m until finding on the left the sign marking the trail start (Dint Trail Sign). Follow the comfortable trail that begins to climb gently up the mountain side. The trail immediately leads into the suggestive beech underwood. Climb a bit more to the top of the ridge where the first panoramic point is, the Dint Skywalk, a metal walkway overhanging the void with the last meters in transparent glass! Caution not suitable for vertigo sufferers! From there the view of Lake Barcis is truly wonderful and vast. After a first return option, the trail proceeds along the top of the ridge with continuous but gentle ups and downs to the second belvedere from which the entire Forra del Cellina and the Natural Reserve area dominate. Continue straight with frequent ups and downs and flat sections, ignoring the trails descending left with signs to the visitor center. At a junction, detour a few meters to reach the third belvedere: this panoramic point allows elevation from the ground to admire not only the Forra del Cellina but also Monte Fara and the village of Andreis below. Return to the junction and follow the descending trail to an asphalted road. Proceed left to the starting point.
