The Botto Waterfall is formed by the Sovaglia stream that originates from Monte Generoso behind it.
The Buco della Sovaglia belongs to the water network, one of the most important springs of Monte Generoso. To reach it, you have to walk about three hundred meters through the undergrowth in the Val Sovaglia from which it takes its name.
