Teaser from past and coming ventures. <br> You can read the expedition blog (in Finnish)at: http://www.avotunturit.fi/category/huippuvuoret2015/ <br>We started 2.4 from Longyearbyen by taking a Bw206 (tracked vechile) to Fredheim from where it was just us, our skies and pulks for the next 3 weeks to come. Our route took us onto Newtontoppen(1713) and Perriertoppen (1712), exited the glacier to Austfjorden. Explored a nice ice cave on the way to Pyramiden, Saw a Polar bear with cubs on the ice to Adolfbukta. Enjoyed a long nice downhill trough Gipsdalen, followed the shoreline to Tempelfjorden.From that on it was just skiing the snowmobile track back. 22.4 we found ourselves back in Longyearbyen.
