From the summit (1,284m), the view extends to the Feldberg, the dreamy High Black Forest, and far out to the Alpine chain.

Schauinsland invites extensive walks & hikes. Around the Schauinsland Tower (currently closed) on the summit runs a circular path past natural meadows, accompanied by a theme trail with fairy-tale wooden sculptures.
