Description:
Storžič is the westernmost two-thousander in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. It stands above the Gorenjska plain like a loner, since there is no similarly high peak in its immediate vicinity. It is also the two-thousander whose starting point (Mače) is closest to Ljubljana and its surroundings, and for that reason the summit is quite well-visited.
