The Kamnik Alps are technically quite demanding and there are not many peaks that can be reached with a dog. The exception is the highest peak, the 2558 m Grintovec, which we climbed on Sunday. In total, we covered 19 km with 2000 m ascent in eight hours. At the summit, it was -15 degrees according to the forecast, and over the ridge it was windy enough to really feel that temperature. Still, we found some shelter for a short break and a piece of chocolate.
