Slovak Paradise in winter.
Sokolia Valley is one of the steepest gorges in Slovak Paradise. It was discovered for tourism only in 1910. Rock walls 300 meters high created a canyon with powerful waterfalls and cascades here. The Veil Waterfall, 70 meters high, is the highest waterfall in the entire Slovak Paradise. Winter gear is essential here. These challenges are, however, richly compensated by extraordinary nature full of beautiful nooks that you won't find anywhere else in Slovakia.
