At the beginning of February 2020, we headed to the famous skialp area Kolm Saigurn in Rauristal, directly to the ice climbing and skialp base Naturfreunde Haus – Sonnblick Basis. There were an incredible 18 of us, so I asked Luboš Chvátal for help with the organization. The hut is open and accessible either directly on skis 6 km from the parking lot or by transport from the hut keeper. Immediately nearby, two premium tours – Hoher Sonnblick and Hocharn.
