ROUTE: From the parking lot of the Sappada 2000 ski lifts, climb the return piste (or take the chairlift) to Rifugio Gosse, from here follow the piste up the ski lifts on the left to halfway before the final wall. Turn left again, climbing a short gully to intersect the summer trail, continue left on the evident path to Malga Olbe. From here continue on the evident summer trail to the chapel of Laghi d'Olbe 2156m. From the northern shore of the largest lake, ascend north up the initially very steep slope, higher up the gradient moderates, then with a long diagonal from right to left cross a steep ridge, finally after some switchbacks on steeper terrain reach the narrow Passo del Mulo 2356m. From the pass leave the skis and proceed on foot aiming west to the visible saddle, from there along a diagonal always westward and after about a hundred meters ascend the second channel on the left. Once at the top of the channel, head decisively east to the small but evident summit.
