With Ester and Paolo
From our land, Friuli, we travel south along the boot to Ascoli Piceno for a short stop.
Then down to Salento, passing Castel del Monte, Giovinazzo, Fasano, Monopoli, Castellana Grotte, Bari, Polignano a Mare. Finally Lecce, our 'base camp' to visit the Salentine peninsula: San Cataldo, San Foca with Grotta della poesia, Roca Vecchia, Otranto, Punta Palascia lighthouse, Santa Cesarea Terme, Castro and Grotta Zinzulusa, Santa Maria di Leuca and the homonymous De Finibus Terrae Sanctuary, Punta Ristola, Marina di Pescoluse called the Maldives of Salento, Gallipoli, Torre Uluzzo, Porto selvaggio, Parco della Strea, Porto Cesareo, Copertino, Nardò. Return journey passing through Valle d'Itria, Locorotondo then Rimini and Roncofreddo to greet the uncles.
