Description:
A nice autumn circuit from Mauterndorf in Lungau. Initially over Hollerberg still moderate but to Peternbauernalm you fight up steeper ramps. Short DH on hiking trail and ski piste to Trogalm. From here increasingly steeper gravel road to Großeck top station and finally the last 2 km continuing steep - always Speiereck in sight - to the Großeck transmitter 2,072 m and Speiereckhütte, which unfortunately was already closed at this time, but we were the only bikers and had the summit to ourselves! Downhill straight back to Trogalm and via Sonnenalm on grippy gravel road directly back to Mauterndorf.
