High above Achensee there is a very attractive via ferrata loop that leads over 5 summits in the central Rofan Mountains. A successful mix of steep ferrata sections, separated by wonderful hiking sections on lush mountain meadows, characterizes this 5-summit tour. The advantage is obvious, you can break off the tour at any time and return to the mountain station without problems. For fit via ferrata climbers, the loop, which has about 800 Hm, can be done in one day without issues – those with less time skip Haidachstellwand and start directly with the difficult via ferrata up to Rosskopf. No matter which and how many sections you do, a landscape-impressive overall experience is guaranteed.
