The route goes through the impressive, wild and mystical glacier gorge (can also be bypassed). Then follows the ascent to Engelhornhütte at 1901 meters. The hut is the starting point for climbers on the vertically dropping limestone walls of the Engelhörner. – The descent leads partly on steep and narrow path (partly secured with ropes) down to Kaltenbrunnen. – Tour data: 14 kilometers, 4:30 hours, ascent 642 Hm.
