Description:
Reuthen is about 14 km east of Spremberg. The estate complex is located on the northeastern edge of the village and is accessed by the "Parkstr." running there and a spur road branching off from the middle of Dorfstr. leading to the farmyard. Geologically, we are in the Muskauer Faltenbogen - therefore, coal was also mined here in the 19th century, very close to the surface in the opencast mining area. The lakes were formed this way.
