The main summit we want to reach today anyway is Punta Eco, a bold and rocky “maiden” of the nearby eerie Rocca Brancia, whose “easy” ascent route develops to the right of Passo della Gardetta, initially climbing the eastern slope, with the last alpine section astride the rocky southeast ridge.
