Pisciadu peak can be climbed from two directions: trail no. 666-(2) Alta via Dolomiti, which leads across the entire Sella Group to Passo Pordoi, and Ferrata Brigata Tridentina. We chose the ascent via Ferrata Brigata Tridentina because it is very popular among hikers and heavily visited in summer months. It has many elements that make it interesting. Primarily, it features vertical and smooth rocks, passes by the waterfalls of the Pisciadu stream, beautiful panorama during the ascent to Colfosco, Corvara and the peaks above it. It can be said that it is also comfortable – it offers the possibility to turn back at several places. It is demanding, very exposed in places. It is very well secured with cables, pegs, ladders, and a special beauty and charm is given by the suspension bridge.
