We are in the Alps of Haute Provence where, not far from the village of Beauvezer, the upper section of the Verdon River flows. Reaching the starting point of the trail is a real treasure hunt; no signs help find the spot along asphalted roads and then dirt tracks (a short web description and an IGN map helped us).
