I hit the trail to Alouette Mountain in Golden Ears Provincial Park, BC to test out my fully loaded pack and poles in preparation for next week's fast packing adventure on the Sunshine Coast. My training has just begun, with the Tahoe Rim Trail just around the corner, all leading up to the Swiss Peaks 360 km race later this fall.
