Description:
Klapy is a nature reserve in the Upper Považie (6.22 ha, 654 m a.s.l.) located around the eponymous hill.
It is a rocky ridge above the Nosice reservoir, in the cadastral area of the village Udiča, built of limestones and calcareous sandstones with a diverse mosaic of plant and animal species, divided into Malé and Veľké Klapy. Klapy are among the richest sites of the Slovak pasque flower in the area, especially on the southern side.
