Pihavec (2419 m) via Luknja

Today we set off from Vrata valley to Luknja and then to Pihavec. Conditions uphill were relatively pleasant, where not, Luka and Rok took care of it (thanks, glory to you). Uphill the quad-powered locomotion was in action for just under three and a half hours, including snacks and sightseeing we were back at the cars in no time. Some patches of snow already in the valley, about 150m below Luknja, i.e. at ca. 1650 m, the snow cover increases rapidly. Locally surprisingly large slabs. On the south-facing slopes of Pihavec snow from 5-50 cm (in drifts/slabs). Windless at the summit and views to Snežnik and beyond were worth the effort! Still waiting for winter though... Please - come already!
