Description:
In the summer of 2013, a hike took me to the summit area of Unterberghorn, better known as Hochkössen in the lower area. Together with Hefferthorn, the mountain forms an island massif, although it is often counted towards the Kaisergebirge. The mountain is partially accessible by a modern cable car.
