As days shorten and sunny slopes decrease, taking advantage of a break in nice weather, the Compagnia dell'Anello decides to climb from Valdieri to Monte Saben and two nearby peaks, Roccaston and Piastre, on the Gesso-Stura watershed, making a nice loop with alpine features (the gully of the south face of Saben), environmental (crossing the natural reserve of Ginepro fenicio) and cultural (the Necropolis and archaeological site of Valdieri).
