Tourist crowds? Although it was a Sunday in the middle of summer holidays, we noticed nothing of it on our tour. Sure, the usual hotspots were of course (as always!) overcrowded, and that's exactly why we chose two little-known peaks that were not only beautifully solitary but also extremely idyllic: the Oberer Kämikopf (1861m) and Zirbelkopf (1989m) in the Wetterstein Mountains.
