Description:
Himmeltind, or also Himmeltindan, is the highest mountain on the island of Vestvågøya on the Lofoten and an impressive sight, although not as distinctive as some other peaks there. The mountain itself consists technically of several summits, the highest at 964m cannot be accessed due to a military radar station.
