Description:
Located in the southwest of Carinthia and nestled between the Drau and Gail valleys, Weissensee lies in an attractive, unspoiled natural landscape. Framed by the Gailtal Alps, it ranks among the cleanest lakes in Carinthia with drinking water quality. The shoreline of this lake at 930 m elevation and 11.6 km long is almost undeveloped.
