Description: Everyone thinks Monte Baldo is the largest and highest mountain in the Lake Garda region. The former is certainly true, the latter not quite. Monte Cadria, a mighty block with furrowed flanks rising west above Valle dei Concei, is a notch higher, exactly 36 meters. The panorama from its summit is correspondingly vast, on par with that from Cima Valdritta (2218 m). What is missing, however, is the dreamy view of the large lake that distinguishes all elevations of Monte Baldo. But the Cadria tour has another advantage: it leads into silence. Monte Cadria – no mass destination, but very rewarding.
