Description:
This route can only be carried out under extreme drought conditions like the current ones (November 2023). The old path is a path running elevated about 30 meters or more above the river course, normally excavated into the rock but in transition zones one must progress over scree slopes where attention is required. It is not advisable to do this route on days of maximum visitor influx such as weekends and holiday periods, nor after rains. The track through the gorge interior is quite erratic due to the orography.
