Description:
Makalu is similar to Everest, with a steep pyramid rising from 7000 meters. Being one of the highest mountains in the world, it is often subject to strong storms and gusts of wind. Makalu is not easily climbed. It is a shy and severe summit that does not like too many people on it. Climbers often avoid it to rush to the nearby Everest, which is simpler and more commercial to climb.
