Description:
It is located along the ring route named after Giorgio Frassati, in a secluded spot in the Maira Valley. It does not receive water from tributaries but only from the melting of winter snow and, together with Lago Visaisa, feeds the sources of the Maira above Saretto through the karst terrain of the area.
