Description:
Always a cool ski tour to Kerschkern K3 with its various descent variants. Starting point is Bergerhube in Triebental 1198 m. The ascent leads into Schaunitztal and further to Schaunitztörl under the imposing Kettentalkogel and Hahnenkamm. From the pass a steep ascent and finally the summit ascent leans back. Directly with skis once again to the summit K3 Kerschkernkogel, a wonderful viewpoint with direct view to Gamskogel with its impressive gullies and all-round panorama over the entire Triebener-Rottenmanner Tauern, Totes Gebirge, Haller Mauern, Gesäuse and Eisenerzer Alpen. We cross the summit and choose this time the second south gully right of the direct summit gully. Also a dreamlike rewarding gully. Overjoyed and positively surprised by the great descent conditions, we swing back through Schaunitztal to Bergerhube.
