The karst plateau Ciumerna is located in the Apuseni Mountains, Trascău Massif.
The karst plateau Ciumerna represents the southern part of the Ciumerna-Bedeleu limestone bar, over 70km long, which starts from Cheile Turenilor to Valea Ampoiului. The karst plateau rises almost 500m above the village of Necrilești, Întregalde commune.
