Description:
Cuel dei Pez is one of the elevations forming the mountain ridge north of Val Dogna. Located west of the two peaks, it offers a beautiful view from the summit on Montasio and the other peaks of the magnificent Julian Alps. On a cold mid-January Saturday, we were the first to climb the beautiful northern valley of its summit, and the snow was surprisingly still powdery. Real fun.... a 7.5/10 trip!
