Description:
28-12-2022: A group of Italian sculptors specialized in transforming ice into works of art creates in the historic center a unique exhibition: Jesolo Ice Nativity. This year the nativity doubles in size with one more case than last year. The two cases transport the visitor through a magical path where on one side is depicted Christmas Jesolo theme with sea and beach elements, on the other the traditional Nativity with classic depictions of the Nativity, Magi, shepherds and sheep. The team is part of the Italian Artistic Ice Academy and is led by Francesco Falasconi, master carver with numerous awards. The team consists of artists who have performed in various places in Italy, including Francesco Carrer and Matteo Renato. Ice, the epitome of ephemeral material, is transformed by the skilled hands of sculptors into a true work of art capable of imprinting the idea and emotion of the sculptors, capturing light and refracting it in a thousand shades. Pure Christmas magic!
