Description:
One of the main attractions of the Kőszeg Mountains is the Írottkő lookout tower (883m), famous for the fact that the state border runs through the middle of the tower, so half belongs to Austria and half to Hungary. Its entrance is on the Austrian side. A lookout has stood here since 1891, first wooden, then stone.
