Schmalsee and the connected Lütauer See are located in the immediate vicinity of the Mölln forest town quarter. Nevertheless, hustle and street noise have little place here. Instead, forest and water offer much relaxation and a bridge over the lake connection makes the hike variable. Part of the path is dedicated to Carmen Langmaack, a woman who was strongly connected to Mölln, spent many years of her childhood and youth here and after her death in 2015 bequeathed a considerable sum to the city for nature and environmental protection, which went into a foundation. That Ms. Langmaack could also write poetry very well is shown by the poem at the end of the film, which can be discovered on a plaque at Schmalsee.
