That smaller brother of Huascaran completely enchanted us. We saw it with our own eyes for the first time in 2014. Already then it magically attracted our eyes and we longed to stand on its summit. However, this ice monster doesn't want to be friends with us much. Back then it didn't even let us touch it. A lot of snow fell, crevasses were snow-covered, avalanches threatened. We even decided to use the services of a mountain guide, which we normally don't do. But all of them sent us to hell. They wouldn't go into such conditions. So we tucked our tail between our legs and continued to only dream about Chopicalqui.
