Short, easy and cute, the Via Ferrata di Gutturu Xeu was recently built near Iglesias by the speleological group C.I.S.S.A. in the limestone walls of the right bank of the homonymous valley. Classified as 'F' (easy) it has a well-positioned cable that always instills security and the progression never has particularly demanding points. The only tricky point could be considered at the start where the first step is at three meters height. The first two steps are in fact removable and removed...to prevent some unequipped hiker from being attracted by curiosity.
