Description: We are just inside one of the world's most renowned coasts, the Costa Smeralda, to undertake a fabulous panoramic (360° view over all surroundings) and gripping technical route that winds through a 'jungle' of granite worked unbelievably by weather agents. The itinerary starts from Stazzo Manzoni and after about an hour and a half approach, arriving in the Punta Cugnana area, more precisely Punta Scala Mpedrada, we get to the heart. Fun begins by overcoming a first summit with fixed ropes to descend the opposite side to the first small rappel connected by a steel cable to the second (1st real rappel) much higher. What most characterizes this route is the rappel into the void of a huge tafone (weathering made by atmospheric agents over millennia), and a fun guided rappel with about 40 meters of void below. The descent is long and complex, calculate long times for large groups. Imperatively bring a rope protector if you want to set up the guided rappel. Excellent anchors, as well as the entire 'making' of the route. On a couple of occasions, multiple rappels can be combined into one with two 60-meter ropes, significantly shortening transit times. Return on path as outbound, takes about an hour. The route is very beautiful and exciting, as well as varied (also thanks to short steel cable protected passages) and complete.
