Description:
The Raspa Loop (from the nickname of the family that 'dominated' the pastures in the area) is a circuit on Monte Irveri in Supramonte di Dorgali. Start from the saddle on the old panoramic road to Cala Gonone known as Littu. After an initial stretch on small roads and paths, through a characteristic iscala 'e fustes (wooden ladders typical of Supramonte) one enters a beautiful ledge with more or less wide sections that winds without exit possibility along the entire north-west slope of the mountain, until after the last rock traverse facilitated (today) by a yellow rope, using a climbable dihedral, one can exit above the high walls. Here it intersects the summit path crossing the whole mountain, and following the numerous cairns one returns to the cars. On the return visit to the recently restored cuile Ziu Taftanu. Along the ledge exposed and mandatory passages are faced that must be found each time. Several 'e fustes ladders and fixed ropes facilitate progression.
