The coastal stretch of the Supramonte di Dorgali and that of Baunei is considered among the most beautiful, wild and intact in the world. In this environment the mountains end abruptly overlooking the sea, in fact what mainly characterizes it are high and vertical cliffs that make the fabulous underlying coves difficult to reach. It is difficult to rank the most beautiful coves, but certainly Cala Biriola can be counted among the first. Not only for the truly exceptional water colors, but also for the arduous path to reach it. In fact, to reach the fascinating cove, seemingly impossible at first glance, one must overcome some aerial passages on iscale 'e fustes (characteristic passages on juniper logs), on rocky outcrops and even on a more modern iron ladder. The path is not difficult, but one must not underestimate finding it. In fact not everyone finds the 'key passages' unique and mandatory to reach the destination!!
