Description: This is a fabulous stream that has carved and shaped the granites of Mount Limbara (Berchidda side). Along its course the Rio S'Oltoriu (on the map), also known as Rio de Balla (by locals), generates a long series of waterfalls and beautiful emerald green pools (in case of sun). Due to receiving water from numerous tributaries, it guarantees good flow even in dry periods. Therefore, stay away in case of heavy rains. Its descent is very fun and sporty also because the rope descents are all very close together. In particular, two strong narrowings accelerate the water speed for the happiness of those who love this type of descents. Between large and small, there are 13 rappels, the highest about 28 m. The final zipline adds value to the canyon making it even more fun. To set it up, a 40 m rope is needed. Unfortunately at the moment the upstream anchors are very high and force the use of only the longest lanyard... and the lower ones need the ladder....
