Description:
From the Renksteg-Wald parking lot in Oberstdorf, go over Höllentobel to Gerstruben. Then follow the path to Alpe Dietersbach, from which after about 1.7 km ascend toward Höfats. After about 1.5 hours, reach the bivy box. Mostly pathless, continue up to Höfats West Summit.
