Hiking to Lake Klöntalersee in Canton Glarus, Switzerland

Once again, I wanted to hike to Lake Klöntalersee in Canton Glarus. But this time it should happen with a more demanding hike in terms of fitness. For that, I started in Riedern (about 600m) near Glarus, from where I ascended to Gumensattel (2055m). From there, almost only downhill, I hiked to Vorauen at Lake Klöntalersee (at 850m). In total, I was on the move for 7.5 hours and was delighted to arrive at the imposing Lake Klöntalersee. During the hike, I was completely alone and only met 2 people.
