Description:
Punta Marguareis is the highest peak of the Ligurian Alps and is located on the border between the Tanaro, Pesio and Roya valleys. Grandiose is the all-around panorama from the summit. It is situated in a vast and geologically interesting karst area where the entire surroundings are affected by karst erosion phenomena with the presence of sinkholes, dolines, furrowed fields, lapies and abysses.
