Description:
Moderately ascending forest path (trail no. 43/502A) to Harbachalm, 1,612 m (approx. 1.5 h). A short distance after the chapel, there is the option to take a shortcut on the hiking trail. Continue on the alpine path to Tofernalm, 1,820 m (approx. 0.5 h, not serviced) and to Tofernscharte, 2,091 m (approx. 1 h). At Tofernscharte turn right (trail no. 43/502A) over the ridge to Gamskarkogel, 2,467 m and Gamskarkogelhütte ("Bad Gasteiner Hütte", 2,465 m approx. 1.5 h).
